Assoufid Villa "B" Art Deco  Marrakech, Morocco (Under Design)

Seventy houses, part of a golf resort development for which we won a competition in 2003, are situated on the arid landscape outside the city of Marrakech. Each house has been sited for optimal solar and wind orientation, and to maximize views to the Atlas Mountains. The houses vary from styles inspired by indigenous Moroccan architecture, and nearby Casablanca's 1920's Art Deco movement, to modern houses with a clean, harmonious aesthetic, all of which integrate and embrace details rooted in local craft traditions that still remain vibrant in Marrakech.
