Andy Fett

Andy has a passion for design and problem solving. He believes that projects should be centered around a strong concept, a set of guiding principles that are developed through careful site and program analysis and stakeholder feedback. Andy strives to create spaces that are environmentally responsible, user focused, and inspiring. He enjoys working on all phases of a project from schematic design to detailing, and construction administration.

Andy has a broad educational background, including a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, and a Master’s degree in Architecture from Iowa State University. He also has a diverse portfolio of professional experience including industrial, healthcare, educational, mixed-use, corporate, and residential projects. Architecture and design always present new learning opportunities and new experiences. Variety and personal growth feed Andy’s passion for his work.

Andy shares his interests, with his wife, Shauntel, who is also an architect. They enjoy spending time with their two children, Graham and Afton. A family of summer adventurers, they enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time at the lake in the warmer months. A western South Dakota native, Andy also enjoys daydreaming about the cabin they will build some day in the Black Hills.
