A couple who both love to cook asked us to remodel an outdated kitchen to create a highly functional, durable and elegant new environment to host friends and family. A mix of white oak and painted cabinetry break up the scale of the kitchen and pair beautifully with the honed black granite countertops and the mosaic backsplash tile and a splash of blue Moroccan cement tile add further visual interest. This same aesthetic sensibility carried over to the primary bathroom renovation where the oak cabinetry is paired with a vertically stacked pale blue ribbed tile.
