The owner of this grand penthouse approached U+B with the desire for a museum-like residence, light filled and open, to display the collection of art and artifacts amassed over a lifetime. The juxtaposition of the very clean modern design with the eclectic personality of our client resulted in a stunningly rich space where the relationship between designer and client was one of full collaboration. Transparent glass guardrails, a well-thought-out lighting layout and crisp details allow the owners vast collection to take center stage while the refined space provides the owner and guests with contemplative space throughout.
